Tonni has a flair for the dramatic which is very much in evidence in this striking pipe. It is a classic Danish bent billiard with a brandy-like tapering of the bowl toward the rim. However, that rim is convex and has a graceful asymmetrical wave across the top. The curved and tapered shank houses one of Tonni's lathe turned "art amber" colored bits, with old-fashioned rings at the shank, whose boss and faceted shaft are reminiscent of his mentor Teddy Knudsen. It has superb straight grain all around, emphasized by dramatic copper-colored staining.

It's in perfect, unsmoked condition and complete with original leather sleeve.
