This imposing straight grain is from the famous "Giant" series, apparently introduced by Charatan to compete with Dunhill's ODA's. Hence it is a billiard of quite reasonable length, but with a very large bowl and correspondingly stout shank, and with a bit that tapers rapidly to a thin, comfortable lip. The graining is certainly worth of the grade, surrounding as it does all sides of the bowl and extending down the shank as well. The rim is perhaps a bit thin for this shape; but there is no evidence of "surgery," , as the chamber tapers smoothly to the heel. However, the price has been adjusted to take account of this limitation, and the condition is otherwise outstanding in all regards.
