I've never before seen a Celius in a tanshell finish; but it is notably attractive. Here, Celius has cut one of his favorite 1/8 bent Dublin shapes from an excellent piece of straight grained briar, subsequently sandblasted, given the tanshell finish, and fitted with one of his characteristic faceted handcut bits with decorative lathe turning near the shoulder. A very generously sized pipe in first rate condition.
