Cavicchi Pipes

Claudio is a Bolognese pipe maker and farmer of enormous skill. His pipes are in the Italian classical style, cut from astonishing wood, and beautifully engineered and finished. He is a devoted pipe smoker, and former World Champion in the pipe smoking competition, a sport which is far more interesting for the participants than for the spectators and is unlikely to receive Olympic recognition if only for that reason. His pipes represent among the best value in hand made pipes today. The number of "C"s corresponds to the grade. So magnetic is his personality that he has convinced his wife to smoke pipes, if only for the photograph. His son, however, cares nothing for farming or pipes. That is surely his loss. Claudio favors white tee shirts, for reasons best known to him.
